I'm going to join the U.S Army sometime soon, maybe in the next 3 months. I need the job, want the training...and frankly I'd rather be dodging bullets in some far off land instead of being so damn close to the past.

When I leave I really don't know when I'll be back again. I'll have to stay in for 8 years...so I suppose you can "walk the streets in safety" till then.
